Message from the Music Director
The Foothill Presbyterian Church Music Program is a dynamic and innovative way to worship and glorify God through song. It is a medium by which people of all ages, stages of life and spiritual development worship God creatively through fellowship and praise. Our choice of music reflects our traditional worship service evident in our expression of traditional songs. It also reflects our diverse congregation evident in our expression of music from different genres and cultures. It is a vehicle to experience strong fellowship that makes music making fun as well as exciting!

Relying solely on donations from the community, we also present concerts that showcase musical talent in our congregation as well as in the community thereby promoting music that is eclectic. Through this Foothill Presbyterian Music Series, we provide concerts include the Festival of Carols held in December, and Jazz On the Grass held in the spring as well as many others throughout the year. |
| Our worship and special services are enhanced by the music provided by our dynamic musical ensembles. Our bell choir, known as the Glory Ringers provides worship music at least once a month. They have also been special guests at Christmas at the Park, San Jose State Choraliers and Concert Choir concerts, as well as at wedding. Rehearsals are on Mondays at 7:30 PM. Our dedicated and enthusiastic Chancel Choir offers music composed by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Palestrina, Vivaldi, and by many others as well as by contemporary composers such as Steve Porter, Kirby Shaw, Douglas Wagner and many more. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:30 PM. Our newest addition, the Children's Choir, is not only enthusiastic but adorable as well. Rehearsals are held after worship service. Rare in the South Bay Area is our very own Recorder Ensemble that offers music from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical periods. For more information, contact Kraig Williams at (408) 923-8425. Apart from these, we also have resident composers, arrangers, as well as very talented soloists that love to play for the glory of God. |

Come and be a part of our music program. We embrace people from all walks of life as they journey and explore what it means to seek and glorify God.
Sincerely,
