Message from the Pastor
Foothill Presbyterian Church is an exciting place to explore what it means to seek to glorify God, enjoy God, and work for the building of God's kingdom among a diverse community of fellow believers.
And we are diverse. Our congregation is made up of people who were born on five different continents, from more than a dozen different countries. Those of us who were born on U.S. soil reflect much of the racial and ethnic diversity that makes Americans so beautiful. Our theological positions, social leanings, political inclinations, and worldly circumstances are more diverse still, and we think this is reason to rejoice.
We find our unity in Christ, who, by grace has made us a family and members of Christ's body. Working together we share powerful worship that is both traditional and innovative. We make beautiful music to the Glory of God. We enjoy laughter and good times of strong fellowship. We engage in mission work that shares the love of Christ to the ends of the earth, and at home we are learning to care for one another by reaching out to and serving one another at every stage of life.
I hope you will stop by for a visit. Come on a Sunday and experience our worship, or drop into the church office on a weekday, where the staff is friendly, the coffee is always hot, and, usually, there are cookies waiting to be shared among friends.
Sincerely,
Ben Daniel,
Pastor Foothill Presbyterian Church
